While I listen to and work on almost all kinds of music from classical to death metal, my inspiration comes mainly from rock, blues, jazz, and country. I grew up listening to bands like The Doors, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd amonst many others. It's my opinion that some of the best recordings were made durring this time and I try to emulate parts of those records in my recordings.
About Tyler
Tyler started his musical journey at age six when his grandpa showed him how sheet music works, starting with piano and drums and adding guitar and bass at age eight. He knew right away this was what his life would be devoted to, and pursued it from then on. He played with the NJYS Percussion Ensemble through middle and highschool under the instruction of Dr. Kenneth Paisick. Out of Highschool he persuded an intership at ShowPlace Studios in Dover, NJ where he spent a year and a half learning from Grammy winning engineer Ben Elliot. It was after this that he made the move to Nashville in order to attend Blackbird Academy where he learned from dozens of the best audio engineers on the planet, and delevolped the skills necessary to walk into any studio and operate it like its his own. After spending several years in Nashville playing with various bands and tracking artits in his home studio, he made the move to Austin, TX where he currently lives. When Tyler isn't in the studio, hes playing with bands, tinkering on guitars, and watching Kill Tony, and he AINT EVER GONNA STOP.
